Join Me in Honouring my granddaughter Claire and Supporting Families Through Loss
On Saturday, October 18, 2025, I will be walking in Barrie, Ontario, in loving memory of my granddaughter Claire, who we lost far too soon. This will be my second year walking in support of Bridget’s Bunnies, an organization that brought comfort to my daughter and her family in their darkest hours.
When Claire passed, Bridget’s Bunnies gave my daughter a comfort kit—a simple gift that carried a powerful message: you are not alone. That reminder meant more than words can capture, and it is my hope that every grieving family receives the same support, compassion, and care.
In Claire’s honour, I have set a fundraising goal of $1,500. Every dollar raised will help ensure other families facing pregnancy or infant loss receive the comfort and resources they need when their world is shattered.
Walking for Claire is my way of carrying her memory forward—and helping others feel seen, supported, and less alone. If you feel moved, I would be deeply grateful for your donation. Together, we can ensure no family walks this heartbreaking path without love beside them.

Description
Bridget's Run for Pregnancy and Infant Loss is a 1km or 5km charity fun run, walk or hop in support of Bridget's Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support and individuals and families experiencing loss.
Funds raised by Bridget’s Run support grieving individuals and families in our region and beyond through:
- Bridget’s Bunnies Comfort Kits
- Little Loss Libraries
- Grief Greeting Cards
- the support of local pregnancy and infant loss efforts
