Aidez Alexa à recueillir des fonds

Alexa was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 2.5 years old. In the middle of a pandemic. Her first symptom was December 2019 when a swollen lymhnode behind her ear appeared. After 6 months of back and forth to doctors trying to figure out what it was, an ENT decided to do a biopsy, the next day, we faced the words no one should ever hear. That first year we spent almost 3 months in the hospital. Alexa loved being able to go to the special Candlelighters cupboard in J4 medicine and pick out a treat. It was something that helped brighten up those long days in hospital. Candlelighters have been there from the start to support Alexa and our family. Alexa is now a happy and healthy 7 year old. We couldn’t be more thankful, especially to Candlelighters.
