💜 Running for Dan (fiancée’s uncle)— Kicking Pancreas 5K This November, my fiancée’s family — Peggy, Kate, Maggie, and I — are lacing up our shoes and joining the Kicking Pancreas 5K Run in Vancouver, BC to raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer research. We’re running for Dan, my fiancée’s uncle, who has been bravely fighting for his life for almost two years. Through every challenge and round of treatment, Dan continues to inspire everyone around him with his strength, humor, and love for life. Even though I joined the family more recently, it’s clear that Dan is the heart of it all — always spreading laughter, kindness, and positivity. His courage and spirit remind me to appreciate every moment and the people who make life meaningful. This run is my way to honor Dan’s fight, support the family I love, and help others who are facing pancreatic cancer. 💜 For Dan. For hope. For a cure.
