My Story…
I've been an advocate for mental health for many years now (14 years to be exact after getting my diagnosis with major clinical depression at the age of 25). You might think but that would mean there were years you weren't an advocate? I'll be honest, I didn't believe in the "hype" of mental health. I had to learn the hard way apparently!
Mental health is such an important thing to me and I do as many speaking engagements as I can on the subject as well! I just had to come back and participate in this amazing event!! This will be my third year participating and planning to make it the best!!
Very cognizant of the fact that we are in very stressful times and donating can be challenging. Even if it's $1, I'll make it go far! Thank you all and let's get stepping!
