This summer, I’m honoured to be a summer research student as an Emily Stowe Scholar at Women's College Hospital, conducting research on perinatal mental health. Named after Canada’s first woman doctor and the founder of Women’s College Hospital, the Emily Stowe Society is a community of individuals, foundations and corporations dedicated to breaking down barriers to careers in health sciences research. 

My own experiences, along with previous work advocating for and studying premenstrual disorders, have shown me the critical need for accessible, specialized mental health care for women. The Run for Women has helped make that care a reality, and I’ve seen the impact firsthand. I'm excited to take part in the corporate challenge this year as an Emily Stowe Strider, and I’d love for you to join me in supporting this meaningful cause!
