My Story…

On June 8, I’m taking part in a race not just for the finish line, but for something deeply personal—supporting women’s mental health.

This cause matters to me because, like so many women, I’ve been navigating the challenges of perimenopause—a time marked by shifting hormones, mood changes, fatigue, and a general sense of being out of sync with my body and mind. The emotional and physical toll is real, and yet it often goes unspoken or unsupported.

My story is similar to so many others—but I’m choosing to speak up and get the conversation going.

Training for this race hasn’t been easy. There have been days where the fatigue is overwhelming, and motivation is hard to find. But through it all, I’ve kept moving—because every step forward is a step toward breaking the silence and stigma around women’s mental health, especially during this phase of life.

Whether I cross the finish line or not isn’t what matters most—what matters is that I’m trying. I’m showing up, honoring the struggle, and navigating the ups and downs with as much grace and grit as I can.

Staying active is part of how I’m fighting back—reclaiming strength, balance, and resilience. But beyond my personal journey, I’m racing to raise awareness and funds so that more women can access the resources, support, and care they need to thrive.

Your support means more than you know. Let’s champion mental health together—one stride at a time.
