Hello all! My name is Joni and my bestie Krista is getting married and decided to celebrate her stagette by doing this run for our Mothers!!! Being children of immigrant parents, we want to run for our mothers who have had to endure so much to make opportunities available for us in Canada. We run to acknowledge the mental load these women had to carry in silence. We hope to help end the stigma regarding mental health in the Southeast Asian community by speaking about the importance of seeking additional support when needed.
