Friends and family,

Last year, with your incredible support, we raised $1,000 for women’s mental health through the Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women—and I was overwhelmed with gratitude. Today, I’m lacing up my runners again and asking for your help to match that total in 2025.

Why am I doing this? Because we’ve all faced emotional trauma, especially over these last few years. We’ve all had moments when the weight of the world felt like too much—when fear, uncertainty, or heartbreak led us to reach out to someone else, just to say, “I need to talk.” These moments connect us as human beings.

If the recent past has taught me anything, it’s that resilience isn’t built alone. It’s built in community, through small acts of care, shared laughter, deep tears, and long conversations that get us through the night. Now more than ever, we need to protect our mental health—and do what we can to support others in our communities who are struggling, often in silence.

This year, I’m dedicating my walk to all my Grrrrrrlz—
To those who keep me grounded.
To those who laugh with me through tears.
To those who hear my rants and feel my rage at injustice.
To those who make space for me to be soft, loud, vulnerable, messy, and real.

You’ve shown me the power of connection, and I want to pay it forward.
