My mom was first diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2019. In February 2025, she was also diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, which quickly progressed into acute myeloid leukemia. She passed away on May 19, 2025. This one’s for you, Mom — I hope you got to ring that final bell in heaven. You are finally free from cancer and at peace. I love you.
