My Story…
I was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer in November 2023. Since then I have undergone an extended distal pancreatectomy and am on my third round of chemotherapy. Although survival rates for pancreatic cancer are low, the rates have continued to increase each year. The funding allocated to research has resulted in more treatment options available to me since I was first diagnosed. I am hoping my team can make a financial contribution toward this research so I can outlive the statistics and give hope to those who are newly diagnosed.
