My Story…
Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!! Participating in the Pride and Remembrance Run as a Co-Captain of Team Queer Run Club (QRC) is one of the most special opportunities I’ve had in the Toronto running community, and in my life in general. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜
When I started my coming out process in 2013, I struggled to find my place in the queer community for many years. I was incredibly privileged to find support from my friends and family, but I wanted to foster a strong and supportive queer community around me. I also wanted to do whatever I can to help support others in their own queer journeys, and help them feel completely embraced as their beautiful selves 💖 With the current events, I find it more important than ever to care for each other, and do anything I can to help my people feel loved and supported 🌈
I have found an incredible community at Queer Run Club. It is the highlight of my week to lead and support the running community with them every Saturday 🌈 Being an avid runner, my experience with the Pride and Remembrance Run has been nothing short of incredible. It feels truly unique and special to be able to celebrate Pride Weekend doing what I love the most - running!! It’s my favourite Pride event and this will be my fourth year participating. I see fundraising as a way to support deserving LGBTQIA+ charities, as well as celebrate our growth as individuals and as a collective. 🌈🌈

Donations over $25 receive a tax receipt. There are other ways to support as well like showing up to cheer for us at Pride Run!

Hi friends!
I’m participating in the pride & remembrance run!
Support and sponsorships for the 2SLGBTQ+ community and events are taking a hit from increasing anti-2SLGBTQ+ sentiment. The pride & remembrance run is dedicated to lifting up and raising funds for important 2SLGBTQ+ programs in the GTA.
You can help me support them as I raise funds this year for 4 incredible non-profit organizations that are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: Sherbourne Health Centre, Sunshine Centres for Seniors, the Women's College Hospital Foundation, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.

It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $325,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these organizations are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and I would be so grateful for your donation.
