Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women!

This year, I’m joining my team at Shoppers Drug Mart #2002/2019 with a goal of raising $1,000 in support of women’s mental health. And while it’s called a run…I fully plan to WALK the 5km. Briskly? Maybe. Enthusiastically? Yes. Gracefully? No promises. 😄

The funds we raise will support the Justice Facility Dog Program associated with the Courage Centre in New Brunswick. This specialized program uses accredited facility dogs to provide comfort, safety, and emotional support to victims of violence as they move through the justice system.

For survivors, court proceedings and interviews can be overwhelming and retraumatizing. Justice Facility Dogs help reduce anxiety, create a sense of security, and provide steady, compassionate support during incredibly difficult moments. Their impact on women’s mental health and healing is profound.

By donating, you’re not just sponsoring a 5km walk — you’re helping ensure that victims of violence receive trauma-informed, compassionate care when they need it most.
