Aidez Hannah à recueillir des fonds

On May 30th, Beau and I are running the Tails and Trails Humane Society 5K, and yes, I fully expect him to outpace me by the second kilometre. 

Beau didn't come from Tails and Trails. He came from a different rescue, during a different chapter of my life. But the reason he exists in my home, on my couch, stealing my side of the bed, is because someone believed animals deserve a second chance. That's what humane societies do every single day, and that's worth showing up for. 

Every dog that gets walked, every cat that gets a warm place to land, every family that finds their person in a shelter animal, that happens because people choose to care. I'm running this race because I want to be one of those people. If you've ever loved a rescue animal, you know. If you haven't, trust me: they know they were chosen. It changes them. It changes you too. 

My goal is $250. That's it. No pressure, no guilt. If you can chip in a few dollars, I'm grateful. If you can't, come cheer us on (and YES Beau will be taking treats on the trail!).
