Help Anita raise money

Similar to Danielle, this is my fourth consecutive year participating in and representing the CDW Women in Sales team at the Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women. 

I’m fortunate to have a strong support system, some of whom I’ll be running and walking alongside this year and even still, there are days when it feels like a dark cloud is following me. Not everyone has that kind of support, and to echo Danielle, no one should have to face mental health challenges alone or in silence. 

On June 19, 2009, I lost my mother to her battle with addiction. More often than not, addiction and mental health struggles go hand in hand. When I reflect on that time now, what stands out most is how lonely that battle must have been. 

That’s why this cause means so much to me.
