My Story…
My friend and I are running the 5km race to raise awareness for women's mental health. The funds will be put towards mental health facilities and programs for those struggling. Given the move for deinstitutionalization of mental health facilities, it became more difficult for those in need to receive treatment and help. Alongside, help can be costly, which can prevent some of those who need it, which is why raising funds is essential to ensure that mental health amenities are more accessible.
