My Story…
I’m running for mental health because this one feels personal.
Like so many families, mine has seen what it means to love people who are struggling. Sometimes quietly. Sometimes for a very long time. I’ve seen how heavy depression can be. I’ve seen how hard it can be for young people to navigate a world that asks so much of them. And as a mom of two teenage girls, I think a lot about what it means to help our girls feel seen, supported and understood.
I also know that mental health is not something that happens to other people. It is in our homes, our schools, our workplaces, our group chats and our families. It shows up in people we love deeply, often behind brave faces and busy lives.
That is why I’m proud to take part in the Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women in support of mental health at Women’s College Hospital. Working in the Foundation, I get to see the difference generosity can make. Donations help create better access to care, more understanding and more hope for women and families who need it.
This run is about more than crossing a finish line. For me, it’s about showing up for the women I love, the girls I’m raising and anyone who has ever felt alone in their mental health journey.
I would be so grateful for your support. Every gift helps, and every donation is a reminder that people care.
Thank you for supporting a cause that truly means a lot to me.
