My Story…
In 2014, I laced up for my very first run.
What started as curiosity slowly became a passion… then an addiction of the best kind. The rhythm of feet on the pavement, the quiet battles with my own limits, the sunrise finishes - running became more than fitness back then; it became therapy and purpose.
I ran for multiple charity runs including Pinkathon initiatives supporting cancer awareness and mental health. One of my proudest moments was attempting a Half Marathon in Mumbai, India - a city that never slows down, teaching me not to either.
Then came the pandemic. Life changed and I took a break.
I am returning to the streets once again - this time to support Ontario Shores Centre for Medical Health Sciences and the important work they do for mental health. I may return with a little less stamina, a slower pace and heavier legs than before… but no less spirit. And if every step can help someone feel less alone, then every mile will still be worth it.
Please join me if you can or support the fundraising for this cause; every dollar matters! 💚
