My Story…
Welcome to Izzy’s Sweet Hydration Lemonade Stand for SMA! 🍋
This summer, Izzy and her family are pouring love and lemonade to raise awareness and funds for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a rare genetic condition that affects the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord, taking away the ability to walk, eat, or breathe without help.
But there's hope. Thanks to research, treatment options have come a long way. With your support, we can help accelerate the journey toward a cure.
We are proud to be part of the Hayden's Heroes team to help fundraise for this important cause!
Here’s how you can join Izzy in making a difference:
🧃 Stop by our stand at the Whitby Running Room for Wednesday Run Club and enjoy a refreshing cup of lemonade — all proceeds go directly to SMA research and support.
💛 Donate through this page — every dollar brings us closer to a world without SMA.
👟 Sign up for the Rebecca Run — a community-driven event helping raise crucial funds to cure SMA.
Together, let’s make every sip count. Help us turn lemonade into lasting change. 💪
Description
On July 4th, I’m participating in the 25th annual Rebecca Run for SMA to raise awareness and critical funds for Cure SMA Canada —an organization that helps support children and their families living with SMA.
Cure SMA Canada = Support. Research. Hope.
Part of the mission of Cure SMA Canada Society is to:
- To fund the best possible Canadian research in search of a treatment or cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
- To support Canadian families and individuals affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy in every province and territory.
- To support Canadian families and individuals affected by SMA as newly diagnosed, during the affected person’s lifetime and the family after an affected person passes.
Help us make this possible by donating to my 2026 Rebecca Run for SMA fundraising campaign.
Thank you!
