Our story…

We are participating as Team @MyBrotherMason because SMA is more than a diagnosis—it is part of our family’s everyday life. Mason lives with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and we have seen firsthand the impact that research, advocacy, equipment, and community support can have on children and families affected by SMA. By walking and fundraising together, we are helping to raise awareness, support vital programs, and create a brighter future for everyone living with SMA. Thank you for being part of our journey.



Description

On July 4th, our team is participating in the 25th annual Rebecca Run for SMA to  raise awareness and critical funds for Cure SMA Canada —an organization that helps support children and their families living with SMA. 

Cure SMA Canada = Support. Research. Hope.

Part of the mission of Cure SMA Canada Society is to:

  • To fund the best possible Canadian research in search of a treatment or cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
  • To support Canadian families and individuals affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy in every province and territory.
  • To support Canadian families and individuals affected by SMA as newly diagnosed, during the affected person’s lifetime and the family after an affected person passes.
