Help us raise money

I’m running the Beneva half marathon to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society of BC, in honour of my grandpa Art, who we lost to Alzheimer’s early this year. I am not a runner (and neither was my grandpa). I started training for this race so I could do something positive with the sadness I felt for the loss of my grandpa and the fear I have for my other family member’s health in the future. I wanted to give back to an organization that provides support and resources to families like mine, and supports research to find treatments for this horrible disease, so hopefully one day no one has to experience what he did.
