Help Maureen raise money

I'm running a half marathon again in October to support my very good friend, Mary Birdsell, and her charity - Justice for Children and Youth. Mary is one of Canada's leading experts on children's rights in a broad array of legal subjects; in particular, with expertise on the application of the UN Convention on the Rights of Children in domestic law. For over 25 years she has been a tireless advocate for individual young people facing significant adversity, and for over 40 years Mary has been a friend I could always count on.

Every step I will take in October is a step to support children and young people facing legal, educational, or social challenges. 

As someone who works in the running industry, and with extensive experience helping charities raise funds, I felt I needed to continue to do my part.

I was able to help Justice for Children and Youth raise almost $3500 last year and I'm aiming for $5000 this year!
