Forrest Gump & I Are Fundraising for Toronto Cat Rescue 🐾
My cat, Forrest Gump, isn’t just a pet she’s family. She’s my comfort on hard days, my comic relief when I need a laugh, and my quiet companion when words aren’t necessary. Like so many cats, she reminds me daily how powerful love, safety, and a second chance can be.
That’s why Forrest and I are fundraising in support of Toronto Cat Rescue.
Toronto Cat Rescue’s mission is simple but powerful: to rescue and find loving homes for abandoned, sick, and injured cats facing abuse, neglect, or even imminent euthanasia. Every year, this volunteer-powered organization saves more than 2,500 cats and kittens, providing medical care, rehabilitation, and the compassion they deserve before placing them with families across Toronto, the GTA, and the Waterloo Region.
Behind every number is a story a frightened kitten rescued from the cold, a senior cat given a second chance, a sick or injured stray finally receiving medical treatment and love.
Not every cat gets a lucky start. But together, we can help give them a lucky future.

TCR saves and finds forever homes for more than 2,500 cats each year They believe every cat deserves a second chance at finding a loving home, and I'm running the marathon to help them get there.
