My Story…

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for supporting me as I prepare to run the 5K at the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon this October.

I am combining a personal fitness goal with a cause that is deeply important to me by fundraising for Indus Community Services. Their Family Services programs provide critical support to individuals and families experiencing violence, trafficking, and significant hardship, helping them find safety, stability, and hope.

Athletics has always been a big part of my life and a huge source of joy, discipline, and a commitment to health. Growing up, I was lucky to be named Rookie of the Year in both volleyball and soccer (at both junior and senior levels). In my senior year, I captained both our flag football and volleyball teams and was proud to receive the Top Female Athlete Trophy, a goal I had worked toward for a long time. Those experiences were competitive, fun, demanding, and deeply formative, built through a lot of hard work, early mornings, and perseverance.

They helped build my discipline, resilience, and mindset, reinforcing a lifelong belief in the importance of health, commitment, and perseverance. More than anything, they continue to shape how I approach challenges and stay grounded in both sport and everyday life.

This run is a continuation of that journey, combining personal purpose with community impact.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.

Thank you for being part of this journey, I will be running my little heart out or all of you this October. ❤️🏃‍♂️
