I was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when I was 12 years old. I have run two half-marathons and a self-planned marathon due to medical complications. I would like to compete in an official race in 2026. I will work hard to raise money to reach my goal of $1,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. This cause is very close to my heart, and I will make sure to train harder than ever to support and fight for every young person battling cancer today, yesterday and tomorrow.
J'ai été diagnostiqué avec une leucémie lymphoblastique aiguë à l'âge de 12 ans. J'ai déjà couru deux semi-marathons et un marathon organisé par soi-même en raison de complications médicales imprévues et j'aimerais me lancer un défi en participant au marathon complet en 2026. Je vais travailler dur pour collecter des fonds et atteindre mon objectif de 1,000 $ pour la Société canadienne du cancer. Cette cause me tient particulièrement à cœur, et je vais m'entraîner plus que jamais pour soutenir et combattre pour chaque jeune qui a lutté, qui lutte, et qui luttera contre le cancer.
