Help Rob raise money

I am getting ready to participate in the 2026 Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Once again, I will walk/run in the 5k charity challenge (October 17) and will add a long bike ride, aiming for 100kms before the end of October. 

If you look at the members of our team, you will see HT Refugee Committee members together with people who we have sponsored in the past: Abenezer, Mansoor, Tsige,  Sina and Weini. You will see their motivation to participate on their profiles on our team page.

You will also see people we are working with to sponsor in future, particularly Zuhal, whose family fled Afghanistan due to government repression and has been living for more than 7 years without permanent status. 

It is a privilege to be involved in these efforts, to bring people, who can't go home, out of countries where they have no future, to where they can build new lives and give back to our collective existence here.  Our support for their resettlement during their first year in Canada (start up costs and monthly living expenses) gives hope of a life with safety, a life with dignity.
