My Story…
This October, I’ll be running my very first half marathon in Toronto—and it means more to me than just crossing a finish line.
Last year tested me in ways I didn’t expect. It was a really tough health year, one that forced me to slow down, reset, and rethink how I take care of myself. There were moments when I wasn’t sure I’d feel like me again.
But here I am—coming back.
Running has always been something I love. It’s where I feel strong, clear, and grounded. And choosing to train for this half marathon feels like reclaiming a part of myself that I missed deeply. It’s not just about distance or pace—it’s about resilience, healing, and showing up again.
At the same time, life has completely transformed. Becoming a mom has been the most beautiful, overwhelming, life-changing chapter. Learning to care for my first child while also running a busy business has stretched me in every direction. And somewhere in the middle of all that, I realized I needed to do something just for me, too.
So this race is that commitment.
A commitment to my health.
A commitment to my strength.
A commitment to the version of me that keeps going, even after a hard year.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come—and I’m so ready for that starting line ❤️
