Why I'm raising funds to rescue cats and kittens in need...
They said it couldn't be done.
They said he was gone.
Now, on October 18th, everything changes.
Boswell James Swinkin was a grey tabby who brought light to our lives for 7 beautiful years and then, on a cold December morning in 2023, he left our Earthly world for the great beyond. We were lucky to know him, and pledged that his memory would live on.
In June of 2024, musicians, artists, dreamers, and makers gathered in the back of the Imperial Pub to give him a proper send-off. Were there cat-themed songs? Yes. Were there commemorative t-shirts? Yes. Was there a live performance of "Can Man," the debut single from Boswell's alternate "rap" persona "Big Bozzy Beeftips?" Of course there was.
Money was raised for Toronto Cat Rescue, and we all walked away knowing that we'd done something special for a special little cat.
Now, 3 years later, Boswell emerges from behind the clouds! I registered for this half-marathon in the dark, not knowing where it would lead me. Then I felt a reassuring paw on my shoulder, giving me the push that I needed to turbo-charge the training. Boswell was breathing again, and he wanted to run! He wanted to fly!
Over 2500 cats are rescued each year by Toronto Cat Rescue, and YOU can help support this amazing organization that gives little furry friends like Boswell a fighting chance.

Boswell's life was cut short before he was able to launch his rap career as "Big Bozzy Beeftips." You could help change history! I've unearthed some pretty astounding demos from Boswell's old laptop, and with your generous donations, we can let these songs finally see the light of day!
$500 raised will get the lead single "Can Man" released for streaming.
$1000 raised will push another single into the light of day.
$2100 (a dollar for every 10 meters of the race) will mean the whole EP "Enter Can Man" is released.

TCR saves and finds forever homes for more than 2,500 cats each year They believe every cat deserves a second chance at finding a loving home, and I'm running the marathon to help them get there.
