Help Maiya raise money

We are raising money for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in memory of our dear friend Riaz Nandan. Riaz was an aspiring physiotherapist who we were lucky enough to smile, laugh, and share a part of our lives with during physio school at McMaster University. He was always the glue that held us all together.

In 2024, Riaz was diagnosed with stage 4 tongue cancer. He left school to fight his battle, where part of his care took place at Princess Margaret Hospital. Throughout his fight, Riaz never lost his positive spirit and showed us the meaning of true resilience. As we train for this race, we are reminded of Riaz’s outlook on life to be 1% better everyday, building ourselves up brick by brick. We hope to honour our friend by raising money to support and help aid in lifesaving cancer research. We thank you in advance for your donation!
