My Story…
Thank you for visiting my donation page! I am running this race in support of Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
You may know that I have been living with Crohn's disease since I was 14. On my first day of hight school I was pulled from class and admitted to McMaster Children's Hospital where I stayed for the next 6 weeks. That marked the beginnig of the next chapter of my life and this condition became a big part of my identity forever.
I have been lucky to be in remission for most of the time since then thanks to the treaments I have been able to access and I hope this effort can help others to live the their fullest lives in spite of IBD.
