My Story…

I’ve been working with the Refugee Committee for nearly twenty years.

I am currently working with CCVT (the Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture) teaching English and helping with their food program.

The Holy Trinity Refugee Commitee has welcomed more than 150 newcomers over the years, including a mother and son who arrived from Eritrea by way of Sudan a month ago.

The increasing need and rising costs make our fundraising more urgent than ever.

I have committed to raise $3,500 of the $35,000 which is the Commitee’s goal for this year’.

Any support you can give will be deeply appreciated.
