My Story…
Why I'm running
For the bravest kid I know — my son, Isaiah.
Isaiah has endured more in his young life than most adults ever will. Kawasaki disease left him with permanent heart damage — a condition that has tested his body, but never his spirit. Every single day, he shows me what perseverance truly looks like. He taught me to never give up, and now I'm running for him.
He is my reason. He is my inspiration. He is the definition of brave.
In memory of Dylan
I am also running in memory of Dylan, who passed away at just six years old from a heart attack caused by Kawasaki disease that went undiagnosed. No parent should ever receive that diagnosis after it's too late. Dylan's short life continues to ripple outward — raising awareness, changing outcomes, and reminding us why this cause matters.
Every step I take is for my son, for Dylan, and for every family navigating the fear and uncertainty of a Kawasaki disease diagnosis. Your support means earlier detection, better treatment, and fewer families facing the unthinkable.
Please donate if you can. Every dollar counts — and every step will be worth it.
