My Story…
I’ve decided to run for something that matters, so I’m lacing up for Hand Up on October 17th!
Hand Up is a completely volunteer-run organization with a mission to end food insecurity by providing accessible, healthy food boxes to individuals and families across Toronto.
With food insecurity continuing to rise, the work Hand Up does is more important than ever. I’m proud to support an organization that is making a tangible difference in our community.
I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU in advance to everyone who supports my run, whether by donating, sharing this post, cheering me on, or simply spreading the word.
Description
Help me fundraise for Hand Up From Hunger Toronto!
I’m raising funds to support Hand Up Toronto and together, we can provide food-insecure families in Toronto with twice monthly hampers of fresh produce and nutrient-dense non-perishables (rice, pasta and dried lentils and beans).
Here’s why this cause is important to me and how you can get involved, too:
Up to 1 in 4 households in Toronto face food insecurity and up to 80% of those households never go to a foodbank. Hand Up Toronto's distribution and delivery model reaches those families.
Proper nutrition, especially the fresh produce that is so out of reach for low-income families significantly improves children’s mental health, academic performance, and long-term wellbeing.
I'm fundraising so that every family that wants hampers can get one through Hand Up Toronto.

Donate to my page today to make sure all families and their children get the nutritious food they need to grow up healthy and happy!
