My Story…
This October, I’m running and raising funds for cancer research in memory of my aunt Prim Jean-Baptiste (Tita Japook), whom we lost 13 years ago to the date. She was like a second mother to me, and the void her loss left in our family is felt just as deeply today as it was then.
Cancer shows no prejudice. Whether young or old, it impacts the lives of people I love and creates a looming shadow so many families are forced to live under. I am raising money so that future families don't have to endure the same devastating pain.
It’s time to eradicate this disease, leave it where it belongs, which is in the history books, and give cancer the ultimate middle finger.
This run is in honour of those who I love that we have lost, those who have conquered, and those who continue to fight today. I love you all.
