Help John C. raise money

I am participating again for the 16th time in support of the Hellenic Home for the Aged. With the continued support of friends like you, I have managed to raise approximately $269,440 over the previous 15 years.
 
I would like to make a special appeal to you once again this year and kindly ask for your support.  We are currently raising funds for a new 128-bed Nursing Home that is being built at the Scarborough Facility and is expected to be ready by June 2027.  This new facility will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many seniors and their families, providing them with a safe, comfortable, and caring environment in which to live.

Our waiting lists have grown to over 800 people looking for accommodation in one of our facilities.
 
I am very passionate about the Hellenic Home.  My immediate family members have stayed at both the Toronto and Scarborough facilities.  The Home provided them with the opportunity to live the last few years of their lives with dignity, compassion, and respect.  If you have, or had, family members residing in one of the two facilities, you will appreciate the work that our dedicated staff are doing.  It is not by chance that we are rated by the Ministry of Health as one of the top nursing homes in Ontario.
 
It gives me pleasure to know our residents are well taken care of in an environment that respects and enhances the Greek heritage and Greek Orthodox faith.  This is what gives me the inspiration and the drive to financially support the Home’s mission, to raise funds for it, to get involved, and to deal with the ever-changing needs of our residents.
