My Story…
My name is Moses, I’m 9 years old, and I’ve been living with Sickle Cell Disease my whole life. On October 19th, I’m getting ready to do something BIG! I’ll be proudly representing the Sickle Cell community as I take part in a 5K walk/run to raise awareness and support the fight for better care, more research, and, one day, a cure.
Living with Sickle Cell Disease isn’t always easy. There are days when I experience pain, days when I have to miss school or activities, and days when I don’t feel my best. But Sickle Cell doesn’t define me. I’m a kid who loves life, loves my family, and believes I can make a difference.
That’s why I created Moses Moves, my campaign to help raise awareness and support people and families living with Sickle Cell Disease.
My goal is to raise $3,000 for SCAGO (Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario), an organization that works to improve the lives of children, youth, adults, and families affected by Sickle Cell Disease.
As I get ready for race day, I’m asking for your prayers for good weather, good health, and strength. I’m also asking you to support Moses Moves with a donation. Every contribution, big or small, brings me closer to my goal and helps support the Sickle Cell community.
Will you help me reach my $3,000 goal?
Let’s get moving!
Moses Moves!
Thank you for supporting me and everyone living with Sickle Cell Disease.
