Join me in bringing hope to children impacted by poverty!
Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for supporting my race fundraiser. I wanted to provide a quick update on why you won't see me at the starting line tomorrow.
Over the past two weeks, I've been dealing with an unexpected medical situation after accidentally stepping on a small piece of wire that became embedded in my toe. It took 11 days and multiple medical visits before a surgeon was finally able to remove it. Unfortunately, I then had a severe allergic reaction to the antibiotics and am currently recovering from that as well.
Between eight doctors' appointments, two X-rays, and several ER visits, it has been quite an ordeal. The good news is that the wire has been removed, my condition is stable, and I am on the road to recovery. The less good news is that I need more time before I can safely participate in the race.
As a result, I have switched my registration to the virtual event and will complete the race on my own once I have recovered.
Please know that your support and donation still make a difference. I am incredibly grateful for your generosity and encouragement, and I remain committed to completing the challenge and honouring the confidence you placed in me by supporting this cause.

Support me in raising money for Toronto City Mission (TCM). You will be helping children, youth, and families impacted by poverty to participate in preventative programs such as TCM’s Kids In Community (KIC) after-school program and Education Provided In Community (EPIC) tutoring program.
TCM is a non-profit organization that, through God’s transformational power, builds loving relationships to bring hope to children and families impacted by poverty in high priority communities in Toronto. One out of four children in Toronto are living in poverty, TCM desires that each child and their families will find hope through Jesus Christ.
