Middle Path Trail Race

The Middle Path Trail race is part of the Outrace Series and Athletics Ontario Trillium Running series. The goal of the Middle Path Organization committee is to provide a race that is accessible to all athletes. Working with Kawartha Nordic and all our sponsors we value the importance of maintaining the environment and becoming a responsible event organizer. We are a green organization that promotes green initiatives and being environmentally friendly.


All participants can do early pickup for their race kits at our Running Room location on 210 Hunter St in Peterborough.

  • This is a great course consisting of 1 loop of our amazing ultra loop. This is a very fast and winding route that all athletes can enjoy.

  • This amazing route is entering into it's 3rd year. Despite this being a fast course, it does have its challenges. This is a 2 lap 13km route that has several aid stations along the route and with it's low elevation makes for a great training or fast race course.

  • This is a great intro into our distance races. This event requires a minimum of 4 athletes per team. All athletes start at the same time and all times are combined for a total time score. The winning team is decided by total time score.

  • This is our ultra event. Taking place at Kawartha Nordic athletes will run 4 laps of 13km. With 2 aid stations at each lap athletes are also equipped with a transition area where they can put their own personal fuel and nutrition.
