Last year my wife convinced me I could actually run 5km. I didn't believe her. Yet, at the Pride Run last year, I did it, slowly, but I did it!
Not only did that happen, but my friends were kind enough to donate enough to get us free registration to the 2026 run - so here we are again - this time with our curling friends from Rock Button Scissors joining us!
If you like me, please donate! If you don't like me, please donate and if we raise enough, I will have to do this again in 2027.
Description
The pride & remembrance run is dedicated to lifting up and raising funds for important 2SLGBTQ+ programs in the GTA.
These 4 incredible non-profit organizations are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: the 519, Casey House, Canvas Programs, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.

It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $350,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these organizations are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and the community would be so grateful for your donation.
