My Story…

This is my 28th participated Pride Run. I cheered at the Finish Line 30 years ago as my partner crossed at the first run. I joined in on the second. Surrounded by such strength, joy, and the run ran counterpart to everything our community was being portrayed: Strong, Vibrant, Purposeful, Healthy, and Caring through Fundraising.

Unseen, so many of us imagined so very many passed friends alongside us, running with grace.

But we all knew more then most: each breath, each step is a gift.

Join me in supporting the Pride and Remembrance Run. The beneficiaries are incredible.

The Toronto Pride Run has donated over a million dollars to every aspect of our community.

This year I am dedicating my run to my Mum. She was a dedicated runner and spent years advocating that the Lutheran church she attended become Affirming Congregations for LGBTQ+ people.

Description

The pride & remembrance run is dedicated to lifting up and raising funds for important 2SLGBTQ+ programs in the GTA.

These 4 incredible non-profit organizations are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: the 519, Casey House, Canvas Programs, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.

It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $350,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these organizations are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and the community would be so grateful for your donation.
