If I’m being honest, I wasn’t planning on doing the run this year—I’m not even sure why. But then I reminded myself what it’s really about. It’s a cause I care deeply about, and a chance to make even a small difference in the bigger picture.
This will be my third year participating in this race, and it still feels just as meaningful.
I believe it’s important to stand up for our rights and to protect something that isn’t guaranteed everywhere in the world—and that can still feel fragile, even here. The ability to truly be ourselves and feel safe doing so is something worth fighting for.
I’d be so grateful for your support again this year. Every donation, big or small, helps incredible organizations continue to make a real impact in our community.

Description
The pride & remembrance run is dedicated to lifting up and raising funds for important 2SLGBTQ+ programs in the GTA.
These 4 incredible non-profit organizations are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: the 519, Casey House, Canvas Programs, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.

It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $350,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these organizations are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and the community would be so grateful for your donation.
