Help Beth raise money

I'm excited to participate in my first Pride & Remembrance Run. I started running 3 years ago at 62 and have participated in 5k and 10k races since then.  The runs have all supported great charities but this run hits close to home.  When my son came out many years ago, I didn’t initially understand the importance of being  2SLGBTQ+ beyond identity and self-expression.  My daughter has since also come out as queer, and it's been a privilege to see my kids grow and know themselves better over time.  Over the years, I have seen the ways that my childrens' identities impact their lived experiences in this world, from how they access essential services like housing and healthcare, to how they build community with partners, friends and their broader social circles.  I’m grateful for the opportunity to support their community and honoured to be running as an ally.
