My Story…
At the beginning of this year I never would have thought I'd voluntarily sign up for a run--- but 2026 is is proving to be a year of many firsts.
"Pride" has taken on a whole new meaning for me lately: redefining my identity, learning self-respect, and finding empowerment through growth and presence, by choosing a substance-free life. It definitely hasn't been easy, but it has been worth it.
Organizations like 519, Canvas Programs, Casey House and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation create spaces of community, support and connection that people like me...don't always know they need-- but can be life changing or even life saving.
That's why I am running.🏃♂️

Description
The pride & remembrance run is dedicated to lifting up and raising funds for important 2SLGBTQ+ programs in the GTA.
These 4 incredible non-profit organizations are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: the 519, Casey House, Canvas Programs, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.

It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $350,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these organizations are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and the community would be so grateful for your donation.
