My Story…
I am running for all the rural queers who survived in the queer diaspora, and spent their childhoods wondering about a queer community that was often hard to find.
I am running to help raise money for the Pride & Remembrance charities this year, to help educate, take care, and remember queers of all generations.
I am running because before she passed, my Mom told me to let people see who I really am. And that is in many ways a wanderer and a wonderer to loves to feel momentums glide past and around him, whether he is swinging on a bar, running in the woods, or swirling on a dancefloor.
I am running because, in darker moments, running seems like an embodied way to feel one foot after the other.
So I run. We run.
To remember.
To feel.
And to exist.
Together.
Thanks so much for your stories and your support.
