My Story…
Hi everyone,
After missing out last year, I'm really happy to be joining the Pride and Remembrance Run again next Saturday (June 27). And I'm very excited and proud that my sister, Rosa Cantiller, was named as one of the Pride Run Ambassadors this year! I'm also running as part of Team Forte with fellow members of Forte - Toronto Gay Men's Chorus.
I love the Pride run. It's a meaningful community event during Toronto Pride that allows us to raise visibility, funds and support for community organizations. This year, I'm really happy that Casey House and The 519 community centre are among the beneficiaries for the run, as well as CANVAS Arts Action Programs and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation. You can learn more about these organizations and the specific programs that will benefit from the funds we raise: https://www.priderun.org/beneficiaries
I know that times are tough and it's a lot to ask folks to donate, but if you are able, know that I and so many others are so appreciative.
With love and pride,
Dan
Description
The pride & remembrance run is dedicated to lifting up and raising funds for important 2SLGBTQ+ programs in the GTA.
These 4 incredible non-profit organizations are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: the 519, Casey House, Canvas Programs, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.
You can find out more about these incredible organizations here.
It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $350,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these organizations are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and the community would be so grateful for your donation.
Thanks again for your support and run it forward!
