Our story…

The Water Vipers Dragon Boat Club is excited to be supporting the 2026 Pride and Remembrance Run in Toronto! As a team, we've always believed that the water is for everyone, and that philosophy carries us into the broader community we're proud to be part of.

The Pride and Remembrance Run is a chance to show up for the 2SLGBTQ+ community, honour those we've lost, and celebrate how far we've come together. 

As a club built on teamwork and camaraderie, we feel right at home backing an event like this. Dragon boat has a way of bringing together people from all walks of life, which is what the Pride Run is all about too!

Every donation, big or small, goes toward organizations doing real, meaningful work in the community.

Description

The pride & remembrance run is dedicated to lifting up and raising funds for important 2SLGBTQ+ programs in the GTA.  

These 4 incredible non-profit organizations are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: the 519, Casey House, Canvas Programs, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.

It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $350,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these organizations are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and the community would be so grateful for your donation.
