Roar! We're excited to announce that Runasaurus Fan (consisting of Terence, Angus, and myself) is taking on the Oasis 5K Run on September 12, 2026. We're running to support animal conservation at the Toronto Zoo, bringing together Terence's love for running and animals. Description
This year’s Oasis ZooRun is raising funds and awareness for Blanding’s Turtles!
With a fundraising goal of $110,000, every dollar raised will help support the Toronto Zoo’s Blanding’s Turtle Headstart Program and its new home inside the Community Conservation Centre.
By supporting our fundraising efforts, you’re helping provide a dedicated space where Blanding’s turtle eggs can be safely incubated and hatchlings cared for before they are released into the wild. This new space will also give Zoo guests the opportunity to see the hatchlings up close and learn firsthand about the vital conservation work happening at the Toronto Zoo.
