Our Story
Team 67 is running with heart, purpose, and just a little ninja spirit! Inspired by Naruto’s determination to never give up, we’re channeling that same energy into supporting the animals we love so much. As passionate animal lovers, this cause means everything to us, every step we take helps protect and care for incredible creatures who can’t speak for themselves. We also run in memory of Wiarton Willie, a reminder of how deeply animals are woven into our lives, traditions, and communities. And just like a butterfly, small actions can create big, beautiful change. Each donation, each step, each moment of support helps something grow. Description
This year’s Oasis ZooRun is raising funds and awareness for Blanding’s Turtles!
With a fundraising goal of $110,000, every dollar raised will help support the Toronto Zoo’s Blanding’s Turtle Headstart Program and its new home inside the Community Conservation Centre.
By supporting our fundraising efforts, you’re helping provide a dedicated space where Blanding’s turtle eggs can be safely incubated and hatchlings cared for before they are released into the wild. This new space will also give Zoo guests the opportunity to see the hatchlings up close and learn firsthand about the vital conservation work happening at the Toronto Zoo.
