They often call pancreatic cancer a silent killer because it’s so hard to find until it's too late. In my case, it took a heart attack scare in January 2025 to lead doctors to a tumor they weren't even looking for. On April 1st, 2025, I underwent a major surgery to remove the cancer, my spleen, and half of my pancreas. ​I'm not just running for a cause; I’m walking because I’m still here to do it.
