My Story…
I'm so grateful to be able to run with the Golden Girls Team on September 5th in support of Madox's Warriors, to fight DIPG and other childhood brain cancers.
This event brings the community together to raise awareness and support critical research for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), one of the most aggressive childhood brain cancers. Every donation helps fund research aimed at finding better treatments and, one day, a cure.
Our team runs for Adrian who had his world rocked in 2020 when he was diagnosed with brain cancer. After intense treatment, he continues to work hard at recovering from all of the havoc that the tumour and treatment caused on his body. Today he's a kind, smart, funny, video game loving teen who I'm honoured will give me a smile when his "auntie" Rose does something cringey.
