My Story…
No one should have to choose between their own financial stability and the health of their pet. Yet for many families, rising veterinary costs make that an impossible reality. I have personally been in tough situations with my dog Farrah where I had to seek financial aid for her cancer journey. Fortunately I received the support I needed in order for her to receive a hindlimb amputation so that she could live out her senior years. Now I would like to pay it forward for others.
I’m running 10 kilometers to raise money for families who need help covering essential medical care for their pets—so they never have to face the heartbreaking decision to rehome or euthanize simply because they can’t afford treatment.
If you’re able, please consider donating. Every bit helps keep pets where they belong: at home, with the people who love them.
